VisionTools supports FIRST LEGO League team
The FIRST LEGO League is an international educational programme that encourages children and young people aged 9 to 16 to engage in science, technology, engineering and maths. It combines robotics, research and teamwork to develop creative solutions to real-world problems. This year’s theme ‘SUBMERGED’ offers an exciting opportunity to explore the underwater world and develop innovative solutions.
VisionTools is pleased to support the FIRST LEGO League team ‘WiderRichen’ (Denis, Leandro, Milo) in their commitment to science and technology. Under this year’s theme ‘SUBMERGED’, the team has developed an innovative transport capsule that is specifically designed to meet the challenges of underwater transport. This solution is characterised by efficiency, sustainability and safety – characteristics that also reflect the philosophy of VisionTools.
For the robot game, the young talents designed and programmed a robot that efficiently and precisely solves tasks on the playing field using LEGO models. With creativity and technical know-how, the team carried out numerous tests and optimisations in order to optimally prepare for the competition. At the beginning of February, they will compete against 13 other teams in Karlsruhe and present their solutions.
We are impressed by the team’s creativity and commitment and are keeping our fingers crossed for a good performance in the upcoming competition.
