Company outing to Regensburg<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year’s company outing took us to the Danube in Regensburg. After the journey we went to a factory tour of the BMW plant nearby. Around 9,000 employees work there and 7 models are built on one production line. A new vehicle leaves the plant every 57 seconds.
On the tour we were impressed by the huge halls of the pressing plant with four large presses in which around 1,000 tons of steel are processed every day. Afterwards, we were able to discover some of our image processing systems in operation in the body shop with its countless robots. After the paint shop and the high-bay warehouse, the body assembly completed the factory tour. The visit of the assembly line was particularly interesting for most of the employees, because most of our vision systems could be viewed here directly at their place of use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening in the old town was started in the Regensburger Ratskeller with a very interesting beer tasting with historical background. Afterwards, numerous pubs in the beautiful medieval alleys invited to stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next day the forest of the Regensburg high ropes course was calling and everyone had fun with informative team building and the exciting climbing course, which demanded courage and skill. After a tasty summer buffet we headed home again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always all participants had fun and could gain many interesting impressions. So we can already look forward to what awaits us next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
