VisionTools inspection station – “I like this”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tuning legend JP Kraemer documented a visit and tour of the BMW Dingolfing plant on his Youtube channel JP Performance. He discovered one of our camera stations and surprisingly counted the number of cameras. We were of course very pleased that he ended up commenting on this inspection station with “I like this”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this station with 55 cameras, however, it is not the “tightened screws” that are checked, as Jean-Pierre noted in the video, but all the features that are important in a final engine inspection. Amongst other things, image analysis is used to check various component codes to ensure that all the correct components have been installed for the current engine type – other camera images are analysed to check, for example, that the clamps on the installed hoses are closed and that the hoses have been placed correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
